Placement Service Plan

1. Champion Beauty College President and Director of Education are responsible for the coordination of placement services programs’ They are to maintain direct contact with employers in the cosmetology and esthetics service area. The president and/ or Director of Education shall continuously network with staff and various businesses in the cosmetology and esthetics field.

​2. A current listing of acceptable area hair styling salons, skincare spas, and related fields of employment shall be maintained by the college. Administrative office. Regular contact should be maintained by the staff to monitor area job needs and office assistance in the placement of graduated and current senior students.
3. Students shall be counseled about post-graduate plans and placement during times when they are evaluated or counseled by instructors or the Director. Assistance should be offered in job placement and in making arrangements for job applications and interviews with prospective employers.
4, Post-graduate correspondences should be made to all students as soon as they have completed their training and have taken the state Board Examination. Correspondence should ascertain the progress the graduate has made in attaining a position and offer any assistance necessary for their success. When the student responds to the post-graduate correspondence, the information should be reviewed by the staff and faculty for further follow-up and then field.
5. A permanent record form will be designed and implemented as time permits. Documentation on all student permanent record forms shall be maintained by the support staff. Any new information received shall be updated on each student's permanent record form, i.e. name change, address change or job change.
6. Continuing Education presents an ideal way to update data on graduate students. The form used for tracking graduates can be distributed to alumni, salon owners, and managers for input following the continuing education classes.
7. The Placement Services Program Plan shall be evaluated on an annual basis by staff and advisory board members.
8. Results from the placement services program shall be disseminated to staff and faculty.
9. Problems related to student placement, or follow-up shall be immediately referred to the President or Director of Education.
